BACKGROUND //
Seeing the need to create one place to update and maintain customer account information as well as the opportunity to be able to introduce new features like payment and profiles, VIZIO decided to revamp their account system.

PROBLEM //
Create a multi-platform system spanning TV, Mobile, and Web that allows users to create a VIZIO Account, connect their credit card, and make subscription and transactional purchases on your TV.

STRATEGY & SOLUTION //
Working with product managers, engineering, marketing, and business development stakeholders starting with initial competitive research and mapping the user’s journey focusing on the most important features that would have the most impact.

I worked on a series of wireframes to propose some solutions based on the results gleaned from discovery.

After getting feedback, I turned these into hi-fidelity wireframes, which allowed me to perform some preliminary paper prototyping and test hypotheses. Some additional tweaks were made and then I started on the initial designs. After many iterations, due to changing business goals and different constraints I finalized a design and I worked with our engineering team on handoff and any additional requirements that came up during development.

Throughout the whole process I consistently met with the full business stakeholder team to check in and make sure I was hitting all project requirements and making adjustments as business goals changed.
