BACKGROUND //
Wildlife Protection Solutions (WPS) is a non-profit that focuses on saving and protecting animals and ecosystems from poaching and other threats by using technology. They also work to inform the public about issues and updates to threatened wildlife.
PROBLEM //
After getting an initial field guide app deployed, WPS wanted to update the user experience and user interface to create a more friendly and easy-to-use app.
STRATEGY & SOLUTION //
We conducted stakeholder interviews with WPS employees and volunteers, created user personas, and through a lengthy process worked through the problem creating many iterations of wireframes and designs. We were able to update and improve on their previous design to create an app that delivers an educational experience wrapped in a more open and user-friendly app.
